This is an example of a Homecoming Mum. This is a normal one they do get bigger, because everything in Texas is BIG! Since one of my blogger friend didn't know what one was I thought I would share it for everyone. In doing some research on the subject I learned that they are a OK and TX thing. I am sorry that I assumed that y'all just don't do this. So I retract that question.Have a Great Day Everyone!

One time I was in charge of flowers for student council and we had a big celebration with alumni and we got mums and they put pipe cleaner graduation years... but this is so different!
Do people like them? Or think they are tack?

Believe it or not but the Homecoming mums do get bigger than the one I put on the blog. It is kind of a status thing. And yes some get very tacky but they love them!
